"Ghost of a King" Live Performance Video

About the Tour

Every so often, I go back through old voice memos, hoping to stumble onto an idea that still has some “fairy dust” resting on it.

That little spark of inspiration still waiting for you long after the excitement of a new song idea has faded.

One day in 2015, I found a short recording that began with me singing the words, “met a ghost of a king.”

Cue the fairy dust spidey senses.

I didn’t know what it was about yet. I just knew I had to write it.

That voice memo became the seed of an entire album, one that has become a close companion over the years.

This fall, we’re heading to 29 cities to bring Ghost of a King back to life on stage in an intimate acoustic (but also epic) setting, sharing the stories behind the songs, and playing favorites from across the years, including songs from our newest album, This Is Not The End.

These nights are gonna be special.

Hope you'll be there.

- Dave
